Individual employees, senior executives and even entire organizations have been found guilty of contravening corporate governance frameworks and not being compliant to the laws that bind their business operations. As such, jobs are lost, careers destroyed and image and brand of organizations are dented leading to loss of business and market shrink, and collapse of companies. Thus, sound governance and compliance to the board of directors, cascaded to the management, can save them individual liabilities and harm to organizational reputation. Upscaling knowledge in governance and compliance management across the organization, to lower cadre staff, but especially, to the senior officers, is vital to ensure that all adhere to rules and not found contrary to the law. This course is aimed at providing individuals and corporate staff knowledge on governance and compliance management with an aim of equipping them with skills to adhere and comply with governance frameworks and compliance measures to enable them have an effective oversight and integrated work processes.
